JULY 3, 2025

A covert amendment to North Carolina House Bill 96 strips local governments of the ability to regulate pet stores, putting pets and consumers at risk.

Your governor has until July 11 to issue a veto. If the bill is not vetoed, this harmful provision — added by the puppy mill industry — will become law.
